| WALRUS AND BOWHEAD WHALES OF IGLOOLIK |

| A wonderful opportunity to search for Walrus and Bowhead Whales in Canada’s
Arctic. You will fly from London to Ottawa where you will spend one night before
flying to Igloolik which is on a small island in Foxe Basin, northwest of Baffin Island.
You will spend 6 nights in comfortable tented accommodation on the water’s edge. The
days will be spent boating in search of wildlife on the water – walrus, seals and bowhead
whales. On land you will be able to see the tundra come to life after a long, cold
winter. Many species of birds nest here including Sabine’s gulls, eider ducks, snow
geese and red throated loons. |

| While there is plenty to see on land the programme will concentrate on searching for walrus
and bowhead whales by boat. Your eighth night will be spent in Igloolik before flying to
Iqualuit for one night. Iqualuit is the transportation hub for all of Baffin Island and
is a bustling community. You will be taken on a tour of the town and there will be time
for shopping. The following day you will fly to Ottawa for your final night before
flying to the UK the following evening. |

Fly from UK to Ottawa where you will be met and transferred to your hotel
for one night. |
| Day 2 |
Fly to Igloolik where you will be transferred to Igloolik Point and your
comfortable tented base for six nights. |
Days 3
to 7 |
Daily activities include boat trips in search of walrus, seals and
bowhead whales. Land programmes include short hikes to archaeological sites, bird
watching and the beautiful Arctic Tundra. |

Transfer back to Igloolik and your hotel for one night. |
| Day 9 |
Transfer to the airport for flight to Ottawa for your final night. |

Fly from Ottawa to UK. |

Arrive UK. |
